When you register for Asset Assign, we collect:

Business Data

Through your use of the service, we store:

  • Inventory items and categories
  • Rental reservations and scheduling data
  • Calendar integrations and sync information

How We Use Your Information

Data access is strictly for functional purposes and adheres to Google's API Services User Data Policy. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Asset Assign service and other products and services we operate
  • Process your rental reservations and manage inventory
  • Sync with your calendar applications when authorized (primary and secondary calendars)
  • Improve our service through analytics and user feedback
  • Communicate important updates and support information
  • Ensure security and prevent unauthorized access

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS
  • Secure cloud hosting with regular backups
  • Access controls and authentication protocols

Third-Party Integrations

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Asset Assign. Each provider only receives the minimum data necessary to perform its function. Stripe processes all payments and stores your payment method information. Asset Assign does not store your credit card details directly. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

  • Supabase provides our database hosting and user authentication infrastructure. Your account information and business data are stored securely on Supabase's platform.
  • Vercel hosts the Asset Assign application and handles content delivery.
  • Resend delivers transactional emails on our behalf, including trial reminders, account verification links, and notification digests. Your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery purposes.
  • Mailchimp holds our email list. When you start a trial, your name, email address, and trial end date are added so we can send you Asset Assign tips and product updates. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect your account.
  • Cloudflare provides infrastructure for our AI support assistant (Amy) and scheduled email services.
  • Google Calendar API is used when you choose to connect a Google Calendar. We only access calendar data necessary to sync your reservations and follow Google's API Services User Data Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

  • When required by law or legal process
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety
  • With your explicit consent
  • With trusted service providers who assist in operating our service (under strict confidentiality agreements)

Asset Assign may be offered under a different product or brand name in future. Where that product is operated by the same company named at the top of this policy, your information remains subject to this policy and is not transferred to a third party.

  • Request corrections to inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and associated data
